The NeXt level
“Athletic development” Program

Speed, power, agility, quickness and conditioning training for all age groups and teams


(Level one) youth 8-12

During this time the athlete will begin to learn things such as correct form, body movement, body control and footwork. Athletes will begin to develop balance, coordination and foot speed during this time. These are very important attributes that an athlete must possess to be successful moving forward. Youth athletes between the ages of 8-12 typically work on this level the majority of the program. The older or more advanced athletes begin on this level simply as a foundation.

(Level two)

The athlete will begin to take on bigger challenges and testing their physical ability. Athletes will begin working on their explosion by going through vigorous plyometric drills during this phase. We will teach the athlete the importance of leg drive, balance and power. During this phase we really emphasize lower body strength and stability. Athletes will begin to develop muscle endurance, explosive power and there fast twitch muscles.

(Level three)

Once an athlete reaches this level they have a full understanding of the program. The athlete will be physically ready to take on bigger and more demanding challenges. During this phase the athlete will go through a variety of resistance training workouts. To go more into depth resistance training exercises are used to develop strength and size of skeletal muscles. When properly performed resistance training can provide significant functional benefits and improvement in overall body strength. Plyometric exercises are pretty heavy in the phase as well. In the completion of this stage the athlete will have improved dramatically in their speed, power, quickness, agility, balance, and coordination.
